Green, yellow and red corridors
What the corridor colour means and where the case is completed in each one.

Where the corridor comes from
For an advance declaration, the risk management system assigns the corridor at the customs checkpoint, after the loaded vehicle crosses the border.
Where the procedure is completed
- Green and blue: at the customs checkpoint.
- Yellow: in a customs control zone or another place allowed by customs.
- Red: in a customs clearance zone.
How to check the colour
You can check the corridor on the Revenue Service website. You need the organisation’s identification code and the declaration registration number.
What to do in a yellow or red corridor
Have your documents ready and allow extra time. Customs may request additional documents or examine the goods (Customs Code, Article 96).
